AmCham Kuwait joins the AmCham MENA Regional Council as a Member

The AmCham MENA Regional Council is proud to announce the joining of The American Business Council of Kuwait-AmCham Kuwait as its new member organization. This affiliation marks an important stride for this regional network, adding over 600 new members to the Council Membership, now nearly over 5000 members representing different sectors around the region.

AmCham Kuwait was a founding member of the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce (MECACC). Since its establishment in 1985, it has been successfully promoting and developing American business interests in the State of Kuwait. AmCham Kuwait's membership, of over 600 corporate and individual members, comprises of American corporations, small and medium sized companies, and prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs, both American and Kuwaiti. Over the last year, AmCham Kuwait has been involved in more than 40 events, summits and conferences.

In welcoming AmCham Kuwait to the AmCham MENA Council, AmCham MENA Council Chairman, Mohamed Bataineh said, "We are honored to welcome AmCham Kuwait as a member in our Council. As the Council has expanded to reach 11 member countries, it will continue working on advancing collaboration amongst the members, addressing regional challenges, and fostering greater business opportunities between the United States and the Middle East and North Africa on a regional level.”
